Zone of Regulation Curriculum geared toward helping students and adults gain skills in consciously regulating their actions, which in turn leads to increased control and problem-solving abilities. The curriculum is comprised of lessons and activities used to gain skills in the area of self-regulation and emotional control for late preschoolers to adults.
Teaching social skills to children can be one of the most challenging aspects of child-rearing, as many preschoolers and kindergarteners have difficulty sharing, making friends, collaborating, empathizing, and cooperating.
We help kids with learning skills such as; sharing, listening, follow directions, Collaborating and cooperating, Patience, Empathy, Respecting Boundaries, and Positivity, Normalize Mistakes and Encourage Sharing.
We conduct many different Social skills activities to help improve kids learn skills, playing taking turn games, group story telling games, emotion charades and much more. These activist not only improve social skills but also emotional regulation skills too in kids.
When it comes to Emotion regulation definition it is a term generally used to describe a person’s ability to effectively respond and manage to an emotional experience. People unconsciously use strategies to cope with difficult situations many times throughout each day.
Kids also struggle emotionally similar to adults and they find it hard to cope up with their emotions but our different emotional regulation activities, help kids to make decisions, persist in goal-oriented activities, and seek help when needed. With different fun activities we help kids learn how to explore and regulate their emotions.
